We had a free weekend stay at a Marriott in Dallas (thank you Grandma Vicki) so we headed up for a little getaway the first weekend in December. There was a little pond in front of the hotel where we took a walk. It was COLD, but beautiful that morning.

We spent most of our time trying to check out the holiday scene up there.
One of our favorites was the tree at the Galleria mall. It was 95 ft. tall and decorated with 10,000 ornaments, 500,000 lights and it had an ice skating rink around the base.
