Meeting R2...a dream come true.

Our public library had a summer reading program kick off that included a "real" storm trooper and R2D2 - so you KNOW we had to get in on that action. The boys LOVED it!!

Cooper's 1st T ball game

Getting a little help from coach Q.

Scoring his first run.

Getting a pep talk from coach dad.

Cooper's last t-ball game.

It's a very short "season" but it's fun to see how much more confident he looked by the end. He really had a great time. He's already excited to do it again.

These pictures are for the Grandmas...who I suspect are now wanting to book their flight immediately so they can get their Hadley fix.
Can you believe I get to kiss those cheeks 100 times(or more) a day? I'm a lucky girl!

My Birthday

Lordy, Lordy....yup, it was THAT birthday! But let's not dwell on numbers - lets talk about what a great day it was. I started out the day by having breakfast with friends at La Madeline. Their french toast in the company of cool people will start your day off right everytime!!
Andrea even made me some SUPER yummy lemon cupcakes! My friends also went in on a FABULOUS group gift - they hired me a cleaning lady for a day and got me a gift certificate to a spa. It came with a fun "menu" of services that I have been pouring over trying to decide which one to choose. {Aren't my friends awesome?...I sure think they are!!}
Later in the day I got to go to P.Terry's (one of my favorite burger joints) with 3 very handsome men (though a couple of them were very little men) and this pretty little thing.
{Side note on the butterfly headband..."Princess" was the theme of my birthday presents from Mark and the kids. It was supposed to be a tiara, but that was the closest he could find. I wore it anyway and the boys thought it was great. Hey, there's NO shame in MY game. I'm an old lady now, I can get away with things like that}
And lastly, sticking with the 'Princess' theme, Cooper and Porter picked this cake out for me. It's not a birthday around here without Costco cake. Heaven help me, I LOVE me some Costco cake!!
