we love grandma and grandpa j

Grandma and Grandpa Johannesen came to visit us! We had fun showing them around Austin. We took them to Mt. Bonnell and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. We tried to see the bats, but they didn't want to come out the night we went (we didn't know that ever happened). We also took them to get some real Texas BBQ - where else but Rudy's...yum! Cooper keeps asking when they are coming back. He loved hanging out on the back deck with Grandpa.

Happy Easter!

From Easter egg hunts with friends to coloring eggs with dad to matching outfits with Porter - Cooper has had a pretty good Easter. Three is a great age - he's just so thrilled with each and every egg he finds and coloring eggs was nothing short of MAGIC! Porter just took it all in. We put a few eggs on the ground for him to "find" (read "crawl to and chew on").
