We've had some crazy weather this month. Mostly freezing rain - but a little snow as well. Because Texas doesn't see a lot of this weather, they're not equipt to deal with it and, pretty much, the whole city just shuts down. Mark's work was closed for most of the week. (Luckily for him he works for a "tech" company which means that everyone has a laptop. So he never has to stop working just because he can't go to work!!) On the one day that we got snow Mark took an extra long break from work so he could go out and play in it with Cooper. (This maybe the ONLY snow we EVER see in Texas - better get out there and enjoy what little there is of it while you can.) We got such a kick out of seeing people go "sledding" here in Austin. Stores around here don't carry sleds - so people head down frozen hills on anything from sheets of corrugated fiberglass to cardboard boxes or laundry baskets. Pretty funny.
