Zilker Park

One of our favorite places to play in Austin is Zilker Park. So when my friend Wendy called and asked if we wanted to meet her there we jumped right in the car and headed down.

Philosopher's Rock - a bronze sculpture depicting three of Austin's mid-19th century personalities: naturalist Roy Bedichek, humorist J. Frank Dobie and historian Walter Prescott Webb...or, if you're Cooper and Porter - a fun place to climb and jump off of.

We brought bread to feed the ducks, but there were none to be found so we settled for pigeons...birds are birds at this age, right?

Ellie - Wendy's ADORABLE little girl.

And no trip to Zilker is complete without a train ride.

Thanks for a fun day Wendy and Ellie! Call us anytime!
