We finished out the day with a train ride around Brackenridge Park. The train station is conveniently located between the zoo entrance and the parking lot, so there's really no avoiding it when you've got train fanatics in tow. But we were happy to just sit and take in the sights for 15 min. or so after all the walking we had done.
Next it was time to get these tuckered out tykes back home. As we were leaving the parking lot Cooper said "That was a really fun day today". Good - Mission accomplished!!

that's fun! sounds like you had a great time! isn't it great when you wear them out and they fall asleep on the way home? i can't believe how big Cooper is getting!
Looks like lots o' fun!!! The zoo is pretty good...it's GREAT for wearing little ones out! :)
