There's actually a reason behind my recent blogging hiatus and his name is Porter!
The day after Halloween Porter started throwing up and running a fever - this lasted a little over a week. In the middle of that week he had a "well baby" check scheduled (a little ironic) and we found out that he also had a double ear infection. On top of that he is getting 4 molars at once and now has some cold or other and can't breath through his nose (which apparently annoys him). So the past 2 weeks have been filled with laundry (since every vomit episode has meant 2 whole outfits - mine and his and/or a load of bedding) cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning and crying (mostly him). And all of this has been done one-handed since he refuses to be put down!!
But, on the bright side - he seems to be pulling through. Hurrah Huzzah!

So glad to hear that he's feeling better. I'll bet you're feeling blessed that no one else was sick too. It always seems to be more than one thing at a time with these toddlers. If it's not teething, it's a rash, or the flu. That sick smell is such a fun one too. Blecch. Take heart that things could be worse.

Poor Kiddo! I've heard the story, but still feel badly for him every time! I hope he's better and that he's had his "dose" of illness for a while!
